WARNING
The power supply unit is supplied with
hazardous mains voltage. Leave servic-
ing to skilled personnel only. Inexpert
handling of the unit may cause an elec-
tric shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
Do not set the monitor into operation, or immediately
disconnect the power supply unit from the mains
socket if
1. there is visible damage to the units,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or simi-
lar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The units must in any case be repaired by skilled

3 Applications
The LCD colour monitor in TFT active matrix technol-
ogy is equipped with two video inputs and an audio
input and offers a sharp, high-contrast, and fast picture
display. The picture can be mirror-inverted vertically
and/or horizontally. For audio reproduction a small
speaker has been integrated.
The monitor is suitable for universal use, e. g. in
video surveillance systems or for multimedia applica-
tions. The unit is supplied with a support including
mounting screws, a plug-in power supply unit, and an IR
remote control.
4 Installation
1) Tightly screw the supplied support to the monitor:
Either use the threaded jack (A) at the lower side of
the monitor or the nut (B) which can be moved in the
guide rail.
2) For setting up the support on a surface it can tightly
be mounted with the three supplied screws or be
glued on by removing the foil on its lower side.
For wall or ceiling mounting tightly screw the sup-
port with the three screws.
3) Release the lateral setscrew at the support, adjust
the desired monitor inclination, and retighten the set-
screw.
4) Connect the mini DIN plug of the supplied cable to
the inline jack (C) of the monitor cable.
5) It is possible to connect two video sources (cameras,
DVD players, etc.): Connect the yellow phono plug
to the video output of the 1
phono plug to the video output of the 2
source.
6) A separate audio source or the audio output of one of
the video sources may be connected to the audio
input (white phono plug).
7) Connect the supplied plug-in power supply unit to
the red inline jack of the cable and to a socket
(200 – 240 V~/50 Hz or 60 Hz).
The monitor can, however, be connected to an-
other power source which supplies an operating volt-
age of 12 V
5 Inserting the Battery into the Remote
Control
Press the strap of the battery support to the right
(1

the support and put it back.
6 Operation

the infrared sensor (1) of the monitor. If it should fail to
function or its range should decrease, replace the bat-

the unit so that it locks into place. After 3 seconds the
picture of the video input last selected appears and

source 2).*
Note: The sound can only be heard if a video signal
is present at the video input selected.
2) To switch over between the video inputs, press

pressing the button MIR (3) [however, not at all, if no video signal is present at the selected video input]. "AV1" or "AV2" will be inserted for 30 seconds each time the
