2. Safety Information
Before starting to work with the turbine , read this operating manual and observe the infor-
mation contained in it. Failure to observe the instructions provided, particularly those related
to safety, can lead to risks to human beings, the environment, equipment and the system.
The turbine has been produced according to state-of-the-art technology with regard to ac-
curacy, principles of operation and safe operation of the equipment.
2�1 Intended Use
The turbine may only be used to measure the pressure, temperature and flow rate in hy-
draulic systems in the approved areas. & "Technical Data" on Page 72
The turbine may only be operated with oils, water-glycol mixtures or water-oil emulsions
with a fluid temperature of 5 °C to 90 °C. & "Technical Data" on Page 72
The SCFT-xxx-02-02 and SCFTT-xxx-C2-05 turbines are only intended for connection to
Parker hand-held measuring devices. The SCFT-xxx-22-07 turbines with a 4...20 mA out-
put are intended for industrial applications.
Any other use of the turbine is considered unintended use, can lead to accidents or dam-
age to the turbine and results in an immediate annulment of any rights to assert claims
