Safety Notices

These operating instructions contain important information pertaining to the safe,
economical, and proper use of the device. The device must only be operated when the
operating instructions have been read and understood.

1.1 Obligations and liability

• Knowledge of basic safety rules and regulations for the prevention of accidents is the
prerequisite for the safe handling of this device.
• These operating instructions and in particular the notes on safety must be followed by
all personnel that work on the device.
• Additionally, the local rules and regulations concerning accident prevention where the
device is operated must be followed.
• This device is constructed using state of the art technology, in compliance with
generally accepted technical and safety standards. However when operating the
facility, the possibility still exists for damage to the machine, its operator, third parties
and surrounding objects. The device should therefore only be used
o for its intended use
o when the safety devices are in perfect working order.
Where there are failures that could affect the safety of the device, it should be switched
off and the fault repaired. Only then should the device be switched on again.
Guarantee and liability claims for personal injury and damage to property are not possible
if they are attributable to one or more of the following causes:
Improper or incorrect usage of the device.

Improper mounting, commissioning, operating and maintenance of the device.

Operating the device when safety equipment is defective or not properly installed, or
-
operating it when safety and protective devices are not functioning.
Failure to observe notes in the operating instructions regarding transportation,

assembly, commissioning and maintaining the device
Unauthorized modifications to the device.

- Unauthorised alterations to the performance or motor parameters on the device.
There is insufficient monitoring of the device parts that are subject to wear.

There are improper repairs that have been carried out.

- In the event of a disaster caused by an external object or act of God.
