2. Safety Information
Before starting to work with the hydraulic tester, read this operating manual and observe
the information contained in it. Failure to observe the instructions provided, particularly
those related to safety, can lead to risks to human beings, the environment, equipment and
the system.
The hydraulic tester has been produced according to state-of-the-art technology with re-
gard to accuracy, principles of operation and safe operation of the equipment.
2�1 Intended Use
The hydraulic tester may only be used to measure the pressure, temperature and flow rate
in hydraulic systems.
The hydraulic tester may only be operated with oils, water-glycol mixtures or water-oil emul-
sions with a fluid temperature of 5 °C to 90 °C. & "Technical Data" on Page 68
Any other use of the hydraulic tester is considered unintended use, can lead to accidents
or damage to the hydraulic tester and results in an immediate annulment of any rights to
assert claims against the manufacturer in respect of the terms of warranty and guarantee.
