2. Design and function

2.3 Vent valve
Open
≤ 1 turn
By opening or closing the vent valve, the case will be vented to or
sealed from the atmosphere. Only ever operate the vent valve via the
spanner flats and to the prescribed torque using an appropriate tool.
By opening the vent valve, the pressure difference between the
atmosphere and the sealed case will be eliminated.
Maintaining the ingress protection is only ensured with a closed vent
valve.
