Measure RTD Sensors
Select the Read mode by pressing the SOURCE/READ button until "READ" appears on the
display. Set the toggle switch to the READ position.
Display: RTD Type; Pt, Cu; °F, °C
This function reads an RTD. Three wires must be used for both two and three wire RTDs.
1. Turn the Selector knob to RTD.
2. Connect the black and red leads to the meter as shown.
3. Press the RANGE/TYPE button until the desired RTD type and temperature scale appear
on the display.
4. Disconnect the RTD from any instrument.
5. Connect to the RTD using three wires.
Note: Spade lugs are recommended to minimize contact resistance.
