Training mode 4 training modes exist: Manual, Speed, User and Heart Rate Control (HRC).
1. Find your program with "▲"/"▼" button on left side (under INCLINE).
2. Select your program by pressing the MODE button.
3. Press Start to start training directly or enter pre-set target values (see Pre-sets).
Manual mode (P1)
Press Start to start training directly or press enter to pre-set target values (see Pre-sets).
Speed (P2 – P10)
The speed is automatically changed during the training by the computer.
User mode (P11 and P12)
An own Speed program profile can be created in the user mode.
1. Press "▲"/"▼" button on left side (under INCLINE) to choose the segment.
2. Press "▲"/"▼" button on right side (under SPEED) to set SPEED.
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 until each time segment has been set.
4. Press STOP for 5 seconds until your hear "Beep". The profile is now saved in memory.
5. Press " ▲ " / " ▼ " to set running time. Press "START" to run.
Heart Rate Control mode (P13)
The computer will automatically change the speed and incline to reach your target heart rate.
You can select your own maximum target heart rate (display shows HRC).
1. "PULSE" LCD shows preset value of "120" Beats Per Minute.
2. Press " ▲"/" ▼" to set heart rate value (70 ~ 170)
3. Press Start to start training directly or enter pre-set target values (see Pre-sets).
Pre-sets
TIME can be pre-set as training target for each of the programs. Normal pre-set = 24
minutes divided in 12 segments of 2 minutes.
1. Press "MODE " into time setting
2. Press "▲" / "▼" to set time
3. Press "START" to run
Pulse
Pulse is displayed in Beats Per Minute (BPM). For optimal pulse recognition please make
sure that only one of the pulse receivers is connected to the computer:
Mode
Press mode button to change display from SPEED to CALORIES and from PULSE to
DISTANCE indication.
Please consult your physician to find your optimal heart rate setting
Hold both hand on pulse connections, OR
Use the ENERGETICS chest transmitter-set (optional)
