MOLDING (J)
1- -1/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (CC)
(14 used in this step)
NOTE:
Before beginning this step, separate the 1- -1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (Y) and 1- -1/8" FLAT
HEAD SCREWS (CC). Do not confuse these SCREWS.
- Position the TOP (E) as shown with the unfinished surface facing up.
- Fasten the RIGHT MOLDING (I) and LEFT MOLDING (J) to the TOP (E) as shown. Use seven 1- -1/8" FLAT
HEAD SCREWS (CC) through the holes in each MOLDING and into the pre- -drilled holes in the TOP.
IMPORTANT:
Do not overtighten the SCREWS. The heads of the SCREWS should be even with the
surface of the MOLDINGS.
NOTE:
Be sure the finished surfaces of the RIGHT and LEFT MOLDINGS are facing up. The
MOLDINGS will set in from the edges of the TOP. The angled ends of the MOLDINGS should
be positioned toward the same end of the TOP that has the large hole.
