Follow the diagram at the top of the page closely for this step. Be sure the parts are positioned exactly as shown.
How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK
1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part.
NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole
of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER.
2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.
- Position the SHORT MOLDING (K) flat as shown in the top diagram with the finished surface facing up.
- Fasten the OUTER END (A) to the SHORT MOLDING (K) as shown in the top diagram. Tighten the
TWIST-LOCK

FASTENERS in the OUTER END.
NOTE:
Be sure the unfinished surface of the OUTER END is facing as shown.
- Now, fasten a METAL BRACKET (U) to each LONG SKIRT (M) as shown in the bottom diagram. Use a 9/16"
LARGE HEAD SCREW (BB) through each BRACKET and into one pre- -drilled hole shown in each LONG SKIRT.
NOTE:
Be sure to position the METAL BRACKETS as shown. The edge of each METAL BRACKET
should be even with the edge of the LONG SKIRT. Follow the bottom diagram.
