9 - SOSTITUZIONE DI UN RAGGIO
PERSONALE
• Se si deve effettuare la sostituzione di un
raggio del lato destro della ruota rimuovere
dal mozzo il pacco pignoni (paragrafo 5.2).
• Svitate di mezzo giro, uno alla volta, tutti i
SPECIALIZZATO
nipples e ripetete l'operazione fino ad allentare
tutta la ruota per facilitare la sostituzione del raggio e la
successiva centratura del cerchio.
• Svitate completamente il nipple e rimuovete la piastrina
(tranne Electron e Proton) del raggio da sostituire.
• Controllate la lunghezza del raggio da sostituire indicata
nelle tabelle al capitolo 16.
• Se la ruota è equipaggiata con mozzo a flange: sfilate il
raggio, sostituitelo e assicuratevi di avere eseguito corret-
tamente l'eventuale incrocio con gli altri raggi.
• Effettuate il tensionamento e l'assestamento dei raggi e
controllate il centraggio e la campanatura della ruota come
descritto al capitolo 11.
• Se la ruota è equipaggiata con mozzo HPW procedete
come segue:
Ruote anteriori:
• Togliete il coperchietto dal mozzo, rimuovete il raggio e
la piastrina ed effettuatene la sostituzione, infine rimontate
il coperchietto (Vedere paragrafo 10.4 - Pag 40).
• Effettuate il tensionamento e l'assestamento dei raggi e
controllate il centraggio e la campanatura della ruota come
descritto dal capitolo 11.
Ruote posteriori:
• Per rimuovere un raggio dal lato del corpetto ruota libera
estraete l'anello fermaraggi dal mozzo, rimuovete il raggio
assieme al barilotto, se necessario sollevate prima il
raggio che sovrasta quello da sostituire.
• Inserite il nuovo raggio nell'apposita sede del mozzo
orientando il lato del barilotto di maggior spessore verso il
suo interno (Fig. 49 - Pag. 45). Riposizionate il raggio
sovrastante (se necessario) e l'anello fermaraggi.
• Per sostituire un raggio del lato opposto togliete il coperchietto
dal mozzo, rimuovete il raggio e la piastrina ed effettuatene
la sostituzione facendo attenzione che il lato con la tacca
sulla faccia convessa della piastrina rimanga verso l'esterno
del mozzo (Fig. 1 - Pag. 41), infine rimontate il coperchietto.
Attenzione: se sostituite un raggio con incrocio o con
schiacciatura asimmetrica verificate dopo il montaggio
di averlo riposizionato esattamente come l'originale .
• Effettuate il tensionamento e l'assestamento dei raggi e
controllate il centraggio e la campanatura della ruota come
descritto al capitolo 11.

9 - CHANGING ONE SPOKE
TECHNICIANS
• If you have to change one spoke from the
right side of the wheel, remove the sprocket
assembly from the hub (See Section 5.2).
ONLY
• One at a time, unscrew all the nipples one-
half a turn so as to slacken the wheel and facilitate replace-
ment of the spoke and subsequent centering of the rim.
• Completely unscrew the nipple and remove the plate
(except for the Electron and Proton) of the spoke to change.
• Check the length of the spoke to change in the tables in
chapter 16.
• If the wheel is fitted with a flanged hub: remove the spoke,
change it and make sure you have correctly carried out any
necessary crossover with other spokes.
• Tension and balance the spokes and check wheel
centering and wheel dish as described in chapter 11.
• If the wheel is fitted with a HPW hub proceed as follows:
Front wheels:
• Remove the hub cover, remove the spoke and the plate and
replace the spoke; then refit the cover (See Section 10.4).
• Tension and balance the spokes and check wheel
centering and wheel dish as described in chapter 11.
Rear wheels:
• To remove a spoke from the freewheel body side, remove
the spoke lock-ring from the hub, remove the spoke along
with the barrel, if necessary first raising the spoke above
the one to change.
• Insert the new spoke in its seat in the hub, turning the end
of the barrel with the greater thickness inwards (Fig. 49 -
Page 45). Reposition the spoke above (if necessary) and
the spoke lock-ring.
• To change a spoke on the other side, remove the hub
cover, remove the spoke and the plate and make the
change, taking care that the side with the notch on the
convex face of the plate is towards the outside of the hub
(Fig. 1 - Pag. 41) then replace the cover.
Warning: if you are changing a spoke with a crosso-
ver or with asymmetrical flattening, check, after
fitting, that it has been repositioned exactly as the
original was positioned.
• Tension and balance the spokes and check wheel
centering and wheel dish as described in chapter 11.

FÜR
• Wenn eine Speiche der rechten Seite des Lauf-
rads ersetzt werden soll, das Ritzelpaket von der
Nabe abnehmen (siehe Absatz 5.2).
• Alle Nippel einzeln um eine halbe Drehung lok-

kern und den Vorgang so lange wiederholen bis
das Laufrad locker ist. Dies erleichtert den Austausch der Speiche
und die darauf folgende Zentrierung der Felge.
• Die Nippel gänzlich lockern und das Plättchen (außer bei Electron
und Proton) der zu ersetzenden Speiche abnehmen.
• Die Speichenlänge der zu ersetzenden Speiche anhand der Ta-
belle, die unter dem Kapitel 16 angeführt ist, kontrollieren.
• Ist das Laufrad mit einer traditionellen Nabe ausgestattet, die Spei-
che entfernen und diese ersetzen. Darauf achten, die eventuelle
Kreuzung mit den anderen Speichen korrekt auszuführen.
• Die Speichen spannen und ausrichten sowie die Zentrierung und
die Mittigkeit der Felge zur Nabenachse kontrollieren. Siehe dazu
Kapitel 11.
• Ist das Laufrad mit einer HPW Nabe ausgerüstet, wird wie folgt
vorgegangen:
Vorderrad:
• Die Kunststoffabdeckung von der Nabe entfernen, die Speiche
und das Plättchen abnehmen und die neue Speiche einsetzen. Die
Kunststoffabdeckung wieder aufsetzen (siehe Absatz 10.4, S. 40).
• Die Speichen spannen und ausrichten sowie die Zentrierung und
die Mittigkeit der Felge zur Nabenachse kontrollieren. Siehe dazu
Kapitel 11.
Hinterrad:
• Um eine Speiche auf der Seite des Freilaufkörpers zu entfernen,
den Speichenhalterungsring aus der Nabe entfernen, die Speiche
zusammen mit der Speichenbrücke entfernen. Wenn notwendig,
die Speiche, die der auzutauschenden Speiche vorgelagert ist,
zuerst leicht anheben.
• Die neue Speiche in die Nabe einführen, wobei die Speichen-
brücke längs in der im Nabenkörper befindlichen Aufnahme einge-
führt wird (Abb. 49 - S. 45). Die vorgelagerte Speiche und den
Speichenhalterungsring (wenn notwendig) wieder in die Ausgangs-
position bringen.
• Um eine Speiche von der gegenüberliegenden Seite zu entfer-
nen, die Kunststoffabdeckung von der Nabe lösen, die Speiche und
das Plättchen abnehmen und die neue Speiche einsetzen. Darauf
achten, daß die konvexe und mit einer Kerbe versehenen Seite
des Plättchens von der Nabe nach außen hin gerichtet ist (Fig. 1-
S. 41). Schließlich die Kunststoffabdeckung wieder anbringen.
Wichtig: beim Austauschen einer Speiche mit Kreuzung oder
mit asymmetrischer Abflachung kontrollieren, ob sich die-
se nach der Montage genau dort befindet, wo zuvor die
alte Speiche war.
• Die Speichen spannen und ausrichten sowie die Zentrierung und die
Mittigkeit der Felge zur Nabenachse kontrollieren. Siehe dazu Kap. 11.
