10.5 - Montaggio dei raggi
sulle ruote posteriori con
mozzi tradizionali (a

flange):
• Procedete al montaggio dei raggi sul
lato opposto alla ruota libera, con le
teste orientate verso l'esterno della
flangia del mozzo e con il primo raggio
montato sul primo foro a destra del foro
valvola del cerchio (Fig. 46).
• Per il montaggio di nipples e piastrine
fate riferimento al paragrafo 10.2.
• I raggi vanno montati radialmente sen-
za incrocio, e ogni nipple va avvitato per
5 giri (sia per i cerchi da 26" che per
quelli da 28" di diametro).
• Procedete al montaggio del lato ruota
libera, con i raggi orientati e incrociati
come indicato sulla figura 47.
• Attenzione all'orientamento delle teste
raggi: seguite l'esempio dei raggi "A" e
"B", uno all'esterno, uno all'interno (Fig.
48).
• Avvitate i nipples per 5 giri.
• Verificate l'orientamento delle piastrine e
raddrizzate eventualmente quelle storte.
• Avvitate di ulteriori 3 giri (per ruote da
26") o 7 giri (per ruote da 28") tutti i raggi
(sia quelli di destra che quelli di sinistra).
• Procedete al tensionamento dei raggi
e alla centratura della ruota come de-
scritto al capitolo 11.

10.5 - Fitting the spokes on
rear wheels with traditional
hubs (flanged hubs):

• Start with installation of the spokes on
the side opposite the freewheel, with the
heads oriented towards the outside of the
hub flange, and with the first spoke fitted
in the first hole to the right of the valve hole
in the rim (Fig. 46).
• For the assembly of the nipples and
plates, refer to paragraph 10.2.
• The spokes should be fitted radially
without crossovers, and every nipple
should be screwed in 5 turns (both for 26"
and 28" diameter rims).
• Proceed with installation on the free-
wheel side, with the spokes oriented and
crossed over as shown in figure 47.
• Take care with the orientation of the
spoke heads: follow given example re-
garding "A" and "B", one on the outside
and one on the inside (Fig. 48).
• Screw in the nipples 5 turns.
• Check the orientation of the plates, and
straighten any crooked one.
• Screw in all the spokes another 3 turns (for
26" wheels) or 7 turns (for 28" wheels) (both
those on the right and those on the left).
• Tension the spokes and center the wheel
as described in chapter 11.

• Mit der Montage der Spei-

chen auf der dem Freilaufkörper gegen-
überliegenden Seite beginnen. Die
Speichenköpfe, vom Nabenflansch gese-
hen, nach außen halten. Die erste Spei-
che in die erste Bohrung rechts von der
Ventilbohrung der Felge einführen
(Abb.46).
• Zur Montage der Nippel und der
Plättchen wie in Absatz 10.2 vorgehen.
• Die Speichen werden radial ohne Kreu-
zung montiert und jeder Nippel wird mit 5
Drehungen angezogen (bei Felgen mit
26", sowie mit 28" Durchmesser).
• Nun die Speichen auf der Seite des Frei-
laufkörpers montieren und diese wie in
Abbildung 47 ausrichten und kreuzen.
• Auf die Ausrichtung der Speichenköpfe
achten: dem Beispiel der Speichen "A"
und "B" folgen, eine nach innen, eine nach
außen (Abb. 48).
• Die Nippel mit 5 Drehungen anziehen.
• Die Ausrichtung der Plättchen überprü-
fen. Die Plättchen, die sich eventuell ver-
schoben haben, neu ausrichten.
• Alle Speichen mit weiteren 3 Drehun-
gen (bei 26" Reifen) oder mit weiteren 7
Drehungen (bei 28" Reifen) anziehen (so-
wohl links, als auch rechts).
• Zur Spannung der Speichen und zur
Zentrierung des Laufrads wie in Kapitel
11 vorgehen.

• Procédez au montage des rayons sur
le côté opposé à la roue libre, avec les
têtes tournées vers l'extérieur de la bride
du moyeu en montant le premier rayon
sur le premier trou à droite du trou de la
valve de la jante (Fig. 46).
• Pour le montage des écrous et des
plaquettes, reportez-vous au paragra-
phe 10.2.
• Les rayons doivent être montés en
étoile sans croisement, et chaque écrou
doit être vissé de 5 tours (pour les jantes
de 26" comme pour les jantes de 28" de
diamètre).
• Procédez au montage du côté roue
libre, avec les rayons tournés et croisés
comme l'indique la figure 47.
• Attention à l'orientation des têtes des
rayons : suivez l'exemple des rayons
«A» et «B», un à l'extérieur et l'autre à
l'intérieur (Fig. 48).
• Vissez les écrous de 5 tours.
• Vérifiez l'orientation des plaquettes et
redressez éventuellement celles qui sont
de travers.
• Vissez de 3 tours supplémentaires
(pour les roues de 26") ou de 7 tours
(pour les roues de 28") tous les rayons
(de droite comme de gauche).
• Procédez à la mise en tension des
rayons et au centrage de la roue comme
il est décrit dans le chapitre 11.
