Transformer Connections to UPS
1. The step-down transformer that comes with your UPS configuration can now be plugged into an available L6-30R outlet on
the UPS or bypass PDU (select models). Locate the AC input cord on the rear of the transformer. Connect its input plug into
one of the L6-30R AC output receptacles on the rear face of the UPS or Bypass PDU. Make sure it is secure by rotating the
plug clockwise until resistance is felt. Once secure, gently tug on the power cord to make sure it is firmly in place.
2. For SU6000XFMR2U hardwire connection to the UPS and optional hardwire output, contacts connections are shown below.

Warning: Models including the SU5000XFMRT2U step-down transformer module must use 208VAC 60 Hz only. If the
SU6000XFMR2U is included with your UPS configuration, the utility input to the UPS must be either 208 VAC or
240 VAC 60 Hz, and the switch on the front of the step-down transformer must be set prior to connecting it to the
UPS. Make sure the input plug is secure by turning the plug clockwise until resistance is felt. Once secure, gently
tug on the power cord to make sure it is in place.
