The vibration level given in this information sheet has been
measured in accordance with a standardised test given in
EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool with anoth-
er. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration emission level represents the main ap-
plications of the tool. However if the tool is used for different
applications, with different accessories or insertion tools or is
poorly maintained, the vibration emission may differ. This
may significantly increase the exposure level over the total
working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also
take into account the times when the tool is switched off or
when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may sig-
nificantly reduce the exposure level over the total working
period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator
from the effects of vibration such as: maintain the tool and the
accessories, keep the hands warm, organisation of work pat-
terns.
Assembly
 Disconnect the power supply before making any ad-
justments, changing accessories, or placing the ma-
chine aside. This safety measure prevents accidental
starting of the power tool.
Operating and Storage Environment
The device is suitable exclusively for operation at enclosed
work sites.
For trouble-free operation of the device, the allowed ambient

temperature should lie between –5 °C and +50 °C (23 °F
and 122 °F) at an allowed relative humidity of between 20
and 95 %, free of dew.
The corded straight screwdriver should be stored at a temper-
ature between –20 °C (–4 °F) and 70 °C (158 °F), in order
to prevent damage to the electronics.
Suspension Device
With the utility clip 8, the machine can be attached to a sus-
pension device.

 Regularly check the condition of the utility clip and the
hook of the suspension device.
Changing the Tool
Inserting
Pull the quick-change chuck 3 to the front. Insert the tool 1 in-
to the tool holder 2 and release the quick-change chuck.
Use only insertion tools with fitting end pieces
(1/4" hexagonal).
 When working with an application tool, pay attention
that the application tool is firmly seated on the tool
holder. When the application tool is not firmly connected
with the tool holder, it can come loose again and not be
controlled.
Removing
Pull the quick-change chuck 3 to the front. Take the tool 1 out
of the tool holder 2 and release the quick-change chuck.
Connection to the Power Supply
(see figures A–B)
The power tool is supplied without a power supply unit. The
PUC-EXACT power supply unit is required to connect the tool
to the power supply.
 Operate the PUC-EXACT power supply unit only with
the intended power tools. Operating other electric tools
can lead to destruction of the PUC-EXACT and the tools.
 Never try to connect the C-EXACT power tool directly
to the power mains. Do not use an extension cable. This
can destroy the C-EXACT power tool.
