Safety devices

CAUTION
Missing or modified safety devices
Safety devices are provided for your own protection.
Never modify or bypass safety devices.
The safety devices are set and sealed by the manufac-
turer. Adjustments are performed only by customer ser-
vice.
Water shortage safeguard
The water shortage safeguard (flow switch) prevents
the burner from overheating in the case of a shortage of
water.
Overflow valve
 If the trigger gun is closed, the overflow valve opens
and the high-pressure pump diverts the water back
to the pump suction side. Thus the permissible
working pressure is not exceeded.
 The overflow valve is set by the manufacturer and
sealed. Set the overflow valve only by the customer
service.
Safety valve
 The safety valve opens when the over-flow valve is
defective.
 The safety valve is set by the manufacturer and
sealed. Set the safety valve only by the customer
service.
Pressure switch
The pressure switch switches off the burner when the
working pressure falls below the minimum value and
switches on the burner again when the working pres-
sure exceeds the minimum value.
Exhaust temperature limit switch
The exhaust temperature limit switch switches off the
device when the exhaust gas temperature is too high.
