TROUBLESHOOTING
FAIL SOUND WHEN SCANNING (IN WI-FI MODE):
• Check beneath the nursery camera that the Wi-Fi mode has been selected.
• Re-enter your Password.
• Make sure your phone's brightness is set at its maximum.
FALSE ALARMS
• Turn OFF the Camera.
• Verify the connection between Sensor Pad and Camera. Unplug and reconnect
the cord.
• Make sure there is no bedding between mattress and Sensor Pad.
• If the crib has a spring or slat base, place a hardboard between the crib base and the
Sensor Pad measuring at least 13" x 13" (33 x 33 cm) and 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.
• Make sure Sensor Pad is positioned as described under the setup requirements.
Sensitivity may need to be adjusted, refer to Step 12.2.
MOVEMENT ALARM WILL NOT SOUND
• Avoid contact with crib while Sensor Pad is in operation.
• Place crib near a solid supporting wall to avoid Sensor Pad from detecting movement
from outside the crib.
• You may need to decrease the sensitivity, refer to Step 12.2.
NO SOUND IS BEING TRANSMITTED
• Ensure Camera and Smart Phone are ON.
• Ensure main supply units are activated.
• Check the volume level of your device to ensure it is not set to mute.
CAMERA POWER ON INDICATOR DOES NOT LIGHT UP
• Check connections or change to another electrical outlet.
• Press the Camera POWER ON/OFF button for 1 second (press & release) and wait
for the activation sound.
CANNOT CONNECT THE MONITOR TO A WI-FI NETWORK
• If the monitor blinks red, you can setup the monitor again. Press the POWER button for
3 seconds to turn OFF unit. Go to Step 3 of this manual to setup your camera.
• If the monitor still does not work or is blinking red, you may need to reset the monitor by
pressing the reset button with a thin object (i.e. paper clip) on the back of the monitor,
hold this for 5 seconds. Repeat Step 3 – Set-up of user manual.
• The Angelcare monitor supports general WEP, WPA and WPA2. We strongly recommend
using WPA or WPA2 as these are the safest Wi-Fi security settings. The Angelcare monitor
does not support WEP Sub Key 2, 3 , 4. Please change your router settings to WPA or
WPA2 if you are not able to connect.
• Keep away from potential sources of interference which may affect the Wi-Fi signal, such
as microwave ovens. There is no risk from leaving ports open on the network. Angelcare
uses secure peer to peer networking solutions which provides a secure, encrypted
