The arc produced by welding can damage the eyes.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
NOTICE
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Never pull the cable assembly across sharp edges or place it in the weld spatter area or
on hot workpieces.
• As the ROBO Compact W600 is integrated into a welding system, the documentation of
the welding components must be observed during operation.
• Ensure that all required parameters have been set.
7.1 Welding process
1 Open the shielding gas cylinder and switch on the power source.
2 Set the welding parameters.
3 Start welding.

NOTICE
• As liquid-cooled cable assemblies start to leak when they overheat, the cooling unit
should continue running for approx. 5 min. after welding.
• When decommissioning the system, ensure that the procedures for switching off the
welding components are observed.
1 Stop welding.
2 Wait until the shielding gas post-flow time has passed and then switch off the power source.
3 Close the valve on the shielding gas cylinder.
