Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING
Dangerous mains voltage!
Improper handling of the machine can lead
to an electric shock.
Switch off the machine before relo-
cating, cleaning or maintenance
and disconnect the mains plug.
• Clean the machine only with a soft cloth
and a mild soap-water solution. However,
no water must enter the equipment.
Never use scouring agents, cleaning fl uid,
petroleum or thinners.
Service work may only be carried out by the
HSM Customer Service or by the service tech-
nicians of our contractual partners.
Greasing the synchronous wheels
(quarterly)

• Remove the left side plate (1).

• Grease the synchronous wheels (2).
Recommended lubricating grease:
K2K in line with DIN 51502/DIN 51825
• Reassemble the side plate.
9 Disposal/Recycling
Dispose of the machine in an environmen-
tally sound way at the end of its service life.
Observe the current regulations when doing this.
As legislation is subject to ongoing changes,
we request that you contact your local authori-
ties at the appropriate time. As the manufacturer,
HSM would be glad to advise you on the dis-
posal of your old machine.
