and protrude through the roof at a proper height and
location to provide adequate draft.
Note: This product is labeled of outdoor use only and
should be operated outdoors. It is not recommended to
operate indoors. If under certain conditions that make
it impossible to operate outdoors you can operate
indoor using a hood vent or venting. Venting can cause
restriction of air flow through the combustion chamber
causing excessive soot. Use a larger vent size then the
exhaust stack to prevent restriction and contact the
local servicing dealer to adjust the air mixture after
installation of vent.
Spray Gun, Spray Lance, Nozzle And
High Pressure Hose Installation
Note: The EASY!Lock system joins components with a
quick-fasten thread solidly and securely with just one turn.
Join the spray lance with the trigger gun and tighten until
hand-tight (EASY!Lock).
Mount the nozzle on the spray lance (marking on the
adjustment ring at the top) and hand-tighten it (EASY!Lock).
Join the high-pressure hose with trigger gun and high-
pressure connection of the appliance and tighten until
hand-tight (EASY!Lock).

IMPORTANT: If the pressure washer has not been used
for an extended period of time, remove the nozzle from
the end of the wand and turn on water supply. Allow
water to run from the end of the wand until clear.
IMPORTANT: The trigger gun provided with this
pressure washer is equipped with a manual trigger
lock to prevent accidental operation of the trigger gun.
The trigger lock should be used whenever the trigger
gun is not in use.

Opening/Closing The Trigger Gun
• To open the trigger gun: Actuate the safety lever
and trigger.
To close the hand spray gun: Release the safety lever
and trigger.
Replace The Nozzle
Risk of injury! Switch the appliance off prior to
replacing nozzle and activate hand spray gun until
device is pressureless.
• Secure the trigger gun. To do so, push the safety
catch towards the front.
Electrical
This machine, when installed, must be electrically
grounded in accordance to local codes. Check for proper
power supply using a volt meter.
WARNING: Make sure all switches and controls
are in
the OFF position prior to plugging in.

The electrical connections must be done by an
electrician according to NEC and local codes.
GFCI Instructions
HDS 4.0/20-4 Eg, HDS 4.0/20-4 Ea only
STEP 1: Plug the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
(GFCI) into a working outlet.
STEP 2: Press ''TEST'', then press ''RESET'' to assure
proper connection to power.
Note: The actual appearance of the GFCI may be
different from this illustration.
