Using personal protective equipment
Without suitable protective equipment, people may be seriously
injured or killed by flying fragments from Geberit pressing
attachments.
• Wear a protective helmet and protective goggles during the
pressing procedure.
Maintenance and repairs only to be carried out by repair shops
WARNING
Risk of injury from leaking hydraulic oil
▶ Immediately clean up leaking hydraulic oil.
▶ If your skin comes into contact with hydraulic oil,
immediately clean the affected areas thoroughly with soap
and water.
▶ If you get hydraulic oil in your eye(s) or mouth, immediately
rinse clean with water and seek medical assistance.
▶ In the event of leaks, cease using the pressing tool and
send it to an authorised repair shop.
Geberit pressing tools and Geberit pressing attachments that are not
maintained, or are not professionally maintained, can cause serious
accidents.
• It is imperative that users comply with the date of the next
maintenance inspection, stated on the service sticker.
• Maintenance and repair work may only be performed by authorised
repair shops.
• Perform maintenance on the pressing tool and pressing
attachments according to instructions. → See "Maintenance
regulations", page 29.
