IMPORTANT
This document is intended to familiarize you with the instrument and get you
up and running as quickly as possible. For additional information, please refer
to the Operator's Manual in PDF format located on the CD. The operator's
manual contains regulatory, operation, installation and maintenance
instructions. Adobe® Reader is included on the CD if you do not have it
installed on your computer.

Attaching the AC Adapter
NOTE: Only use the AC Adapter supplied to charge the battery pack. The battery pack
must remain in the instrument at all times to operate.
1. Insert the mini-DIN plug from the interface cable into the back of the
instrument.
2. Insert the small plug from the adapter into the power-input of the DB9
plug on the interface cable.
3. Plug the appropriate detachable line cord into the adapter and then plug
the line cord into an AC wall receptacle.

4. Allow the instrument to charge for approximately 14 hours to obtain a
full charge.
5. If your instrument will be connected to a computer, refer the Operator's
Manual on the CD for interface instructions.

Operation Keys

Perform measurements and screen/option navigation with the three keys
located below the display screen.

Use to navigate through the available options. Each time the key is pressed,
the highlighted square (reverse image) moves to the next option. Navigation
