Setting Measurement Options
Before you take any measurements, you must set the measurement options.
The options will remain as set until changed. All measurement options are
located in the Primary screen. The status bar on the measurement screen
displays the current settings.
1. Press the Center key to turn on the instrument.
NOTE: Hold the Center key down for 2 seconds if a charging message is displayed.
2. Press the Left key to advance to the primary screen.
3. Set the desired measurement options. See available options below.
4. After setting options in the primary screen, press the Center key
return to the measurement screen.

Available Options

Depending on the instrument model, all options shown may not appear.
Positive or
measurement type.
Offset Plate (reflectance),
Paper. Indicates the substrate used during a measurement.
Percentage or
in Paper Mode). Indicates the measurement mode.
Auto, Cyan,
