Switch on the power tool and allow the blade to build up maximum speed.
Press the wheel lock button (4) and make arcwise motion forward, allow the blade to move towards
material.
Once the blade is lowered, you can release the wheel lock button (4) and start cutting.
After making the cut switch off the power tool, and when the blade stops, take the power tool away from
the processed piece.
When necessary, you can also start a cut in the middle of a piece. When making a plunge cut it is
recommended to use the guide bar that is fixed to the work piece in order to reduce risk of kick back to
minimum.
Make cuts in straight line only.
Do not cut material while holding it in hand.
Use cutting blade appropriate to type of processed material.
Tool accessories include blades (fig. J):
Sintered carbide blade (27) – for cutting wood and wood like materials.
HSS blade (28) – for cutting wood, plastics and non-ferrous metals.
Diamond disc (29) – for cutting tiles, concrete, stone.
Use only working tools with allowable rotary speed higher or equal to power tool rotary speed with
no load, and diameter not greater than recommended for the power tool type.
Unplug the power cord from mains socket before commencing any activities related to installation,
adjustment, repair or maintenance.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Cleaning the device after each use is recommended.
Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
Clean the tool with a dry cloth or blow with compressed air at low pressure.
Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, they may damage plastic parts.
Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent device overheating.
In case of power cord damage replace it with a cord with the same specification. Entrust the repair to a
qualified specialist or return the tool to a service point.
In case of excessive commutator sparking, have the technical condition of carbon brushes of the motor
checked by a qualified person.
Always store the tool in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
Immediately replace worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked motor carbon brushes. Always
replace both carbon brushes at a time.
Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a qualified person. Only original parts should be
used.
All defects should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
