3. Clean the machine with a damp cloth (Figure 27).
ATTENTION: Do not power spray or hose off
machine. Electrical component damage may
result.

4. Check the fluid level in each battery cell (See

5. Recharge batteries (See CHARGING
BATTERIES).
NOTE: Recharge batteries ONLY after a total of 30
minutes of use or more. This will prolong battery life.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 20 Hours of Use)
1. Clean the battery tops of corrosion (See
BATTERY MAINTENANCE).
2. Check for loose or corroded battery cables.
3. With an air pressure hose, blow out the dust that
collects inside the pad driver motor. This will
prolong the life of the motor. Safety Glasses
required.

1. Lubricate the caster with a water resistant grease.

3. Check the machine for loose nuts and bolts.
4. Check the condition of the dust skirt, replace if
worn (Figure 30).

QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE
(Every 250 Hours of Use)
Check motor(s) for carbon brush wear, replace all
brushes if worn to a length of 10mm (3/8 in) or less
(Figure 31). Contact your Authorized Service Center
for carbon brush inspection.
