Setting the date
Note
English
• The mechanism cannot be damaged by an incorrect
setting or manipulation.
• If the watch stops it is necessary to reset the perpetual
calendar.
• The month graduation (indicator B') on the sapphire
disk is only used to set the equation of time. It is
easier to read the month of the perpetual calendar in
aperture B.
To set the perpetual calendar, please follow the procedure
described here very carefully. The example selected
describes the correction from:
• Sunday 30 March of the second year (2) following a
leap year
to
• Saturday 14 January of the first year (1) following a
leap year at 10:11 am.
During the different setting steps, you must set each
!
parameter (date, month...) to the day preceding the
desired date. This is necessary because the final
step when correcting the watch is to set the hour by
passing midnight (therefore jumping ahead one day)
to be sure that the hour set is before or after noon.
