Danger
Risk of injury! Device, tubes, high pressure
hose and connections must be in faultless

è Lock parking brake.

Refill fuel

Warning
Never operate device with empty fuel tank
The fuel pump will otherwise be destroyed.
Danger
Risk of explosion! Only refill diesel oil or light
fuel oil. Unsuitable fuels, e.g. petrol, are not
to be used.
è Close tank lock.
è Wipe off spilled fuel.

Refill detergent

Danger
Risk of injury!
– Use Kärcher products only.
– Under no circumstances fill solvents (pe-
trol, aceton, diluting agent etc.)
– Avoid eye and skin contact.
– Observe safety and handling instructions
by the detergent manufacturer.
Kärcher offers an individual cleaning and
care appliances program.
Your dealer will consult you gladly.

è Refill detergent.
Install hand spray gun
è Connect ray tube with hand spray gun
è Insert the high pressure nozzle in the
union nut, attach the union nut to the
spray lance and tighten it, or attach the
multiple nozzle directly to the spray
lance.

è Install high pressure hose on high pres-
sure connection of the device (Figure 1 -
Pos. 2).

Water connection

For connection values refer to technical spe-
cifications
è Install supply hose on water connection
of the device (Figure 1 - Pos. 8).
Note
The supply hose is not included.
Observe regulations of water supplier. Ac-
cording to DIN 1988 it is not allowed to con-
nect the device directly to the public water
supply. A brief connection through a pipe in-
terruptor (Order Nr. 6.412-578) is admissi-
ble. The high pressure cleaner is to be
separated from the water supply after use.
suck in water from vessel
Use 3/4" hose with suck filter for suck in
– Max. suck height: 0,5 m
Danger
Never suck in water from a drinking water
container. Never suck in liquids which con-
tain solvents like lacquer thinner, petrol, oil
or unfiltered water. The sealings within the
device are not solvent resistant. The spray
mist of solvents is highly inflammable, explo-
sive and poisonous.

Power connection

For connection values, see technical data
and type plate.
Warning
The highest allowed net impedance at the
electrical connection point (refer to technical
data) is not to be exceeded.
è Set the appliance switch to "0".
è Plug in the mains plug.
è If you use an extension conduit it should
be unrolled all the time and possess a
sufficient cross section (10 m = Min.
1,5mm²; 30 m = min. 2,5 mm²).
