1. Remove and identify all parts from carton. Make
sure all parts are present before disposing packing
materials.
2. Place vacuum base on flat surface with neck and
support lever in upright position.
3. Hold dust bag housing vertically and place over
neck and support lever. Push dust bag housing
down firmly to lock into place. (See Figure 3)

4. Lift handle lock. Insert handle assembly into top of dust
bag housing and push down firmly. (See Figure 4)

5. When handle assembly is inserted as far as it will go,
press down handle lock until it clicks into place.
NOTE: If handle is not pushed completely down,
vacuum will not start.
