CAUTION! Turn off power switch and unplug
electrical cord before maintenance.

CHANGING DUST BAG

1. Lift up cover latch release and pull off cover.
(See Figure 16)
2. Grasp dust bag clamp on both sides and squeeze
to release full dust bag. (See Figure 16)

3. To reassemble dust bag housing, align new dust
bag collar with slots in bag holder. Slide bag back
into position until it clicks. (See Figure 17) Align tabs
at bottom of dust bag cover with slots.
4. Press top of cover back toward vacuum body. Press
cover latch down. (See Figure 17)
NOTE: Dust bag cover will not latch without a
dust bag installed.

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING/REPLACING PRE-MOTOR FILTER
Pre-motor filter is located under dust bag. Check filter
each time dust bag is changed. (See Figure 18)

5. Clean or replace as needed. Shake filter to remove
excess dust. If necessary, wash with water and mild
detergent.
6. Reinstall filter after completely dry.
REPLACING HEPA FILTER ASSEMBLY
1. Step on handle release pedal and lay vacuum flat
for easy access to filter cover.
2. Press tab to release HEPA filter cover and lift cover
off. (See Figure 19)
3. Grasp tab and lift out filter. (See Figure 19)

4. Install new HEPA filter.
5. Match tabs with slots and press HEPA filter cover
back into place.
NOTE: Filter is washable and can be cleaned
by rinsing with warm water. Be sure it is
completely dry before installing.
