BR 01-92 compass
Te c h n i c a l N o t e s
True to the Bell & Ross philosophy, the BR 01 COMPASS watch is inspired by
aircraft cockpits, where each part is a reference in terms of legibility, reli-
ability and performance. The display of the BR 01 COMPASS is reminiscent
of a navigation compass.

off , unscrew and pull the crown until it is in position 1, then wind the mechanism by turn-
ing the crown clockwise. After about 40 rotations, the watch is fully wound (the mecha-
nism has no stop in order to keep the winder from being wound too tightly). The operating
time is then 40 hours. When the watch is being worn , the clockwork winds the movement.
Setting the time
. Unscrew and pull the crown until it is in position 3. Set the time by

REmoVING THE sTRap aND ITs 2 FasTENINGs
The case of your watch has 3 main parts:
Part 1: the main body of the case with the crown (G)
Part 2: the "cover" of the case with its 4 screws (D)
Part 3: the 2 strap fastenings (F)
These 3 parts are assembled by screws (D and J) that are visible on each side of the case:
The 4 slotted head screws (D) are used to fix the cover to the body of the case and to seal
the watch. (Please note: so as not to invalidate the Bell & Ross warranty, these screws
must never be undone.)
The 8 socket-head screws (I and J) (hexagonal recess / 1.3 mm in diameter) are used
to attach the strap to the fastenings (screws I) and the strap fastenings to the case
(screws J). These screws can be handled carefully using the 2 special tools supplied in
the watch's box.
ImpoRTaNT
Once the time has been set, screw the crown back down to ensure a perfect seal. To do
this, push the crown until it is in position 0 by simultaneously turning it clockwise. The
crown must never be handled underwater.
caRE

centre or by a watchmaker approved by Bell & Ross. For any repairs under warranty, you
will need to present the Bell & Ross warranty card, duly dated and signed by the retailer
