BLADE INSTALLATION

1. Remove and discard the five rubber motor stops from the
motor assembly (A) by removing the screws. (Fig. 16)
Do not connect fan blades until the fan is com-
CAUTION:
pletely installed. Installing the fan with blades assembled may
result in damage to the fan blades.
2. Position the blade (I) over the blade holder (H) with threaded
posts showing. Make sure the bottom edge of the blade is fully
seated against the blade arm. With a Phillips screwdriver,
tighten ⁄ -24x7.5 mm washer head screws (BB) with fiber
washers (CC) to secure the blade to the blade arm. (Fig. 17)
3. Attach blade holders (H) to the motor hub (A) using the
¼-20x14 mm screws (AA). (Fig. 18)
NOTE: Periodically check blade holder hardware and resecure
if necessary.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do not
WARNING:
bend the blade holders when installing, balancing the blades
or cleaning the fan. Do not insert foreign objects in between
the rotating blades.

HOUSING SWITCH CUP/ADAPTER ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

1. Disassemble the housing switch cup/adapter assembly (B)
by removing three screws. (Fig. 19)
