Machine Elements

1 Mounting head, vertically adjustable.
2 Lever with push-button (magnified view) to lock mounting
head in its position relative to the rim.
3 Mounting arm, horizontally displaceable.
4 Manual inflator (only for basic versions not BS).
5 Machine post, tiltable pneumatically.
6 Holder of tyre lubricant container.
7 Chuck with clamping jaws.
8 Tyre lever.
9 Pedal – tilting of the machine post.

Pedal for chuck rotation at two speeds:
– Depress pedal to first stage – 7 rpm – tyres difficult to
handle.
– Fully depress pedal – 14 rpm – tyres easy to handle.
– Lift pedal, backward rotation of chuck at 7 rpm only.

manual tyre inflator (only for basic versions not BS).

For careful clamping of alloy rims and for careful
demounting and mounting of tyres on alloy rims a number
of plastic parts are available as optional extras.

ON-OFF switch

(only for single phase/2 speed versions)
The electrical unit is fitted with an ON-OFF (0-1) switch
(1, Fig.1a) for switching the machine power supply on
and off.
WARNING: SWITCH OFF THE UNIT AT THE END OF
EACH DAY.
