Mounting unit 4
Slide the M6 INOX range change nut 54603048300 on the mounting
plate taillight 61108118085 and screw onto the rear top section using
the M6x12 ISO 7380 oval head screws 0738060121.
Run the taillight cable through the taillight mounting plate. Slide the
groove in the taillight on the cast-on guide (1) on the rear top section and
screw on the taillight using the KTM M5x12 collar screws 0015050123.

Place the taillight cable in the groove in the rear top section and mount the
seat pin 61107140060 using the EJOT PT 50x18 WN 1411 screws
0081500181. Mount the clamp with the EJOT PT KA 50x12 screw
0081050121. Install the seat lock. Apply Loctite 243 to the lock plate screw.
Check the lock plate for proper functioning.
Mount the mounting plate for the left and right rear top section 61108118080
using the 4 EJOT PT 50x18 WN 1411 screws 0081500181. The recesses
should point down and towards the front.

Mount the retaining bushing for the left and right rear top section 61108128000
on the rear mounting point of the passenger footrests using the M8x25 cylin-
der screws 0984080183. Slide the rear top section into the retaining bus-
hing and allow the seat to engage in the rear top section lock.
Temporarily mount the seat carrier 61107147000. Make sure the front edge
of the seat carrier fits flush against the tank. Adjust the rear top section so
that the gap between the seat carrier and the rear top section is 2mm (adjust
the gap by moving the rear top section). As soon as you have the correct clea-
rance (2), carefully remove the seat carrier, dismount the rear top section
and tighten the rear top section lock using the DIN 7991 M6x25 flat-head
screws 0991060253 (unit 2).
Connect the wiring harness to the taillight and flasher cables. Mount the edge
protection 61108118070 on the rear top section.

Mounting the seat
Mount the lock plate for the seat carrier 61107147060 (3) on the seat
carrier using the EJOT PT 50x18 WN 1411 screws 0081500181. Mount
the four rubber spacers for the seat 61007040010 (4). Mount the seat to
the seat carrier using the M6x16 AH flathead screws 0984060163. Insert
washers in the front, shims in the rear. The height of the seat is
adjustable. To adjust, mount 7mm distance bushings 61107148007 or

15mm distance bushings 61107148015 between the seat carrier and the
seat. If using 7mm distance bushings, mount with M6x20 AH screws. If
using 15 mm distance bushings, mount with M6x30 AH screws.
