Re-initialising the timing hands:
After changing a battery, incorrect updating, violent shock or exposure to a strong
magnetic field.
CAUTION: initialisation is only possible after stopping and resetting the countdown
or timing to zero.

Battery end-of-life: the "EOL" function indicates the battery end-of-life,
displayed by the small second hand (counter at 2 o'clock) which moves forwards
four steps every four seconds.
Resetting the small hand of the counter at 10 o'clock to zero:
Pull the crown out to position 1.
Press push-button A or B; the central direct drive moves forwards
quickly and stops. Press push-button A step-by-step to adjust
the small hand on the counter at 10 o'clock to "0" ("60").
Resetting the central direct drive to zero: press push-button B
step-by-step or continuously to adjust the central direct drive to "12".
