INSTALLING THE HANDLE

INSTALLING THE WIRE:
Turn the welder off and disconnect the power
supply.

4. ERROR INDICATOR = The indicator lights in
the following two situa¬tions:
a) If the machine has malfunctioned and can not
be operated.
b) If the cutting device has exceeded the stan-
dard working time the protection mode is initi-

ated and the machine will stop functioning. This
means that the machine is now being cooled
in order to be able to restore temperature
control again after the device has overhea¬ted.

Therefore the machine is stopped. During this
process, the red warning light on the front pa-
nel lights up. In this case it is not necessa¬ry to
remove the power plug from the socket. The

ventilation system may be left on in order to
enhance the cooling of the machine. When the
red light goes dark, this means that the tempe-
rature is now down to the normal level and the
1 unit can be put back into operation.

Insert the handle into the fixing holes in the
upper cover and secure with a bolt.
Press the latch locking the cover and open it.

Undo the knob, remove the spring and the upper fixing plate. In the case of replacing the spool, remove the
remaining wire from the guides. Put the new spindle of the flux-cored wire on the spindle. In order to avoid
problems with the wire slipping out, it is recommended for the wire to unreel from the spindle counter
clockwise.
After installing the wire spindle, fit the upper fixing plate, spring and knob.

Undo the pressure arm, thus releasing the guiding stirrup.

Undo the guiding roller knob and ensure the roller is suitable for the specific wire thickness - 0.8 mm or
0.9 mm.
