Diode green lights before test:
Battery OK. Ready to operate.
Diode green lights after test:
No water content in the brake fluid.
The brake fluid can remain in the vehicle..
Diode green / yellow lights:
Low percentage of water < 1%.
Brake fluid must NOT be replaced.
Diode green / yellow / yellow lights:
Low percentage of water < 2%.
Brake fluid must NOT be replaced.
Diode green / yellow / yellow / red lights:
High percentage of water < 3%
Brake fluid must be replaced.
Diode green / yellow / yellow / red / red lights:
Very high percentage of water > 4%
Brake fluid must be replaced, immediately.
NOTE
The tester will automatically shut down within 10 seconds after the measurement.
The next measurement cannot be carried out until the device has shut down automatically and has been
switched on again.
MAINTENANCE
The brake fluid tester is maintenance free. Renew dead battery as described in "Battery Replacement".
Clean with a soft, dry cloth.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories
and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner
which is compatible with the environment.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose battery in household waste.
Batteries should be disposed of in a responsible manner, they must be disposed at
appropriate collection point.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Contact your local solid waste authority for
recycling information or give the product for disposal to BGS technic KG or to a electrical
appliances retailer.
