INJECTOR LEAK TIGHTNESS TEST
This test should be carried out if the high pressure pump does not reach 300 bar and the vehicle does
not start.
When the fuel system is depressurized, disconnect the high pressure lines from the injectors and
install the blind plugs instead of the injectors. Carry out the steps under "START AND IDLE
PRESSURE MEASUREMENT".
If the pressure increases to 300 bar when starting, at least one of the injectors is leaking.
To determine which injector is leaking, connect the injectors again one after another and repeat the
test.
If the pressure is still too low, there may be a problem on the pump or pressure regulator (see tests
above).
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life environmentally. Recycle unwanted
materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging
should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.
