Follow all the instructions described below with the help of the picture on page 19.
• Open the water tap (1-Pic.1).
• Turn on the electrical switch (4-Pic.1) and turn the knob clockwise; make sure that the led 10 is
on.
• Once the machine is on, the automatic level starts the filling up of the boiler until the proper level.
At this stage, the led 10 is on.
• Right after that, verify that led 8 is on too (heating of the boiler).
• During the boiler heating stage, the brewing groups 9 are not functioning and do not get warm,
but it is possible to reserve the turning on of the brewing groups you want to use by pressing
button P7 for 10 sec., this will be confirmed by led 3 and led 6 blinking.
• When the boiler reaches the correct temperature, brewing groups will start heating up. When all
brewing groups requested to heat up reach the temperature, the unit will emit a "beep" sound,
confirming that it is ready to be used.
NOTE
This coffee machine was conceived in order to save a good quantity of energy, therefore during the heating up of the machine,
the coffee groups only heat up when the boiler has reached the correct temperature. If you want to use the groups before the
boiler has finished heating, switch the machine off and on again ,pressing at the same time the cups-warmer button, (or about
10 seconds), the heating of the groups then begins, led 3 and 6 lighten, while led 8 is off. In order to go back to the heating up of
the boiler, press the cups-warmer button for at least 10 seconds until led 8 turns on.

NOTE
To obtain a good coffee it is necessary to have filter holder (10-11) always inserted in the groups (12) in order to have a correct temperature.
• Detach filter holder taking care not to touch hot metal parts!
• Clean the filter and fill filter holder with fresh ground coffee (1 coffee dose for 1 cup filter –
2 coffee doses for 2 cups filter).
• Press the coffee lightly with the special tamper and clean the filter ring in order to take away
possible coffee remains.
• Hang back the filter holder tightly until it locks and press the requested coffee switch (P1-P2-P3-P4).
• When the light of the button you pressed goes off, the espresso coffee is ready.
NOTE
• This machine has 5 brewing buttons for each group; 4 of them are electronically dosed and one has the continuous
brewing function and stop.
• The 4 dosed buttons should be set by the technician when installing the machine in agreement with the user and the
user should not modify this setting.
