Use for the specified purpose includes:
• use in agriculture, gardening, maintenance of green areas and parks and for
winter road clearance.
• the driving of attachment units approved by Rapid.
• the compliance with the operation, servicing and maintenance conditions
stipulated by the manufacturer.
• the use of original Rapid spare parts.
Any use beyond the foregoing shall be deemed to be not in accordance with the
specified use. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from
such use. The risk in such cases shall be borne solely by the user.
Users of the machine must strictly adhere to the following instructions apart from the
warning signs and warning information in the operating instructions:
• Before operating the machine, it must be checked for traffic and operational
safety.
• When using the machine, it is forbidden to wear long loose hair and loose clothing
or jewelry, which might become trapped in the machine.
• Closed footwear with non-slip soles is indispensable.
• Before starting to work, the user must be acquainted with all facilities and control
elements and their functions.
• All defects must be rectified before each use.
• All safety equipment must be properly installed.
• The operator bears the full responsibility for third parties in the danger zone.
Persons, particularly children, and pets must be kept away from the machine.
• Any working method impairing the stability of the machine is prohibited.
• Foreign objects must be removed from the area to be worked on before starting
work. Milestones, pieces of stone, drainage covers etc. should be identified with
a marker post before the work is begun.
• Only work during daylight hours or with sufficient artificial lighting.
• Working on the machine under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly
forbidden.
• Use of this machine requires increased physical effort.
• Never allow children to use the machine.
• Persons or pets must not be transported on the machine.
• When leaving the machine, secure it against rolling away and unauthorized use.
• No changes must be made to safety equipment.
• Never remove any warning sign. Replace lost or illegible warning signs.
The accident prevention regulations and the generally approved safety-related rules
must be observed.
In case of unexpected situations, immediately release the dead man's lever and
apply the parking brake.
