Description/Construction:
The C 1000 S cardioid/hypercardioid convertible condenser micro-
phone has been designed for professional vocal and instrumental use
on stage and in the studio. The microphone operates either on an
internal 9 V battery (6F22) or on universal phantom power (9 to 52 V, DIN
45596) from a mixing console, tape recorder, or external power supply.
The high quality back plate condenser transducer works together with
the capsule shock mount to optimize handling and cable noise rejec-
tion. The microphone case consists of an aluminium shaft with a screw-
on brass front-tube and a rugged stainless steel mesh cap.
The microphone is fitted with an on/off switch which helps prolong bat-
tery life. In order to prevent the microphone being switched off uninten-
tionally, the switch is recessed.
The C 1000 S has an internationally standardized 3 pin male XLR
connector.
The surface of the C 1000 S is enameled dark gray metallic.
The C 1000 S comes complete with a PPC 1000 Polar Pattern Con-
verter, PB 1000 Presence Boost Adapter W 1000 wind and pop screen
and an SA 43 elastic "quick release" stand adapter in a strong, foam
lined cardboard box.
