SATA LAB Automatic Gun Operating Instructions

Before using the automatic gun, heed/check the following points to war-
rant safe working with the gun:
■ Automatic gun is safely fitted.
■ Compressed air flow rate and pressure is ensured.
■ Clean compressed air is being used.
Connect the material supply
Note!
Only unscrew the gravity flow cup when drained to prevent any material
from leaking.
A gravity flow cup is responsible for material supply to the automatic gun.
■ Screw the gravity flow cup onto the gravity flow cup connection piece.
■ Unscrew the screw-on lid.
■ Fill the gravity flow cup.
■ Screw on the lid with lid plug.
Adjust spray gun inlet pressure
Note!
If the gun input pressure does not reach the necessary level, increase
the pressure in the compressed air circuit.
■ Adjust the spraying air to the necessary input pressure.
Adjust the material flow
The grub screw [4-1] is glued firmly in the material flow control and is
used for fixing the unit.
The needle lifts 1.0 mm per turn of the material flow control and 0.04
mm per grid unit.
The adjustable scale ring [1-3] and the scale on the gun body [1-13]
help with adjusting the settings and for reproduction of the material flow.
The scale ring can be fixed in the required position with the fixing screw
[1-10].
