Introduction
If the monitor is used in medical practice
(in accordance with the legislation govern-
ing the operation of medical devices), it
should be calibrated at regular intervals
(see page 72).
The boso-medicus exclusive blood pressu-
re monitor is suitable for patients with an
upper arm circumference between 16 and
48 cm (see p. 53 for cuff sizes). The device
is also suitable for visually impaired
patients. It is not suitable for infants.

Wireless communication devices, such as
home networking devices, mobile phones,
cordless phones and their base stations,
walkie-talkies can affect this blood pres-
sure monitor. Therefore, a minimum
distance of 11 feet should be kept from
such devices.
