Prerequisites

your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
3. Keep the #2 Phillips screwdriver ready.
4. Remove the tarjeta intermedia PCIe support bracket.
NOTE: You must remove the tarjeta intermedia PCIe support bracket to replace a faulty system board.
Steps
1. Orient the tarjeta intermedia PCIe support bracket toward the back of the system.
2. Align the tabs on the tarjeta intermedia PCIe support bracket with the slots on the system and slide it until the tabs on the
support bracket engage with the slots on the system.
3. Install the screw to secure the tarjeta intermedia PCIe support bracket on the system board.
