6 Installation instructions
6.1 Boiler room and ventilation
The boiler room must be prefitted in accordance with current standards and assembly provisions in the country of
installation. Particular attention must be given to the ventilation of the room.
The volume of renewal air must be at least 1.6 m
Top and bottom ventilation cross sections: to be calculated according to the current DTU
The combustion air must not have high dust concentrations.
It must be also be free of halogens (chlorine, fluorine compounds). An excessive presence of
halogens in the air leads to significant corrosion. The maximum permitted presence of
halogens in the combustion air is 5 ppm.
Halogen compounds are found, among other places, in aerosols, thinners, detergents,
degreasers and solvents. The probability of halogen emissions is also high close to dry
cleaners, hair dressing salons, swimming pools, printers and washing machines placed in the
same room. In case of doubt, the combustion air quality must be ensured by an external air
inlet. Ensure that pressure losses are minimal because they can reduce the burner power.
6.2 Installation
6.2.1
6.2.2
Damp is prejudicial to electrical equipment. If the floor of the room is damp or loose, provide a pedestal of
sufficient height.
A pedestal must also be provided if the height for mounting the boiler is not sufficient. Otherwise a pedestal is not
required.

The combustion chamber door,
including the burner must be able to
open to 90°.
For fitting the jacket, to right and left of
the boiler, the minimum distance must
be 200mm.
B
After fitting the jacket, the boiler can be
moved closer to the wall, leaving a
separation of at least 500mm.
