Allwetter-Fußmatten (Links- oder Rechtslenker) des smart, Baureihe 451.
Die Fußmatten dienen dem Schutz und der Schonung des Fußraums.

Montage Fußmatte Fahrerfußraum

WARNUNG - UNFALLGEFAHR DURCH GEGENSTÄNDE
IM FAHRERFUßRAUM
Gegenstände im Fahrerfußraum können insbesondere den Pedalweg
einschränken oder ein durchgetretenes Pedal blockieren.
Das gefährdet die Betriebs- und Verkehrssicherheit des Fahrzeugs
Alle Gegenstände im Fahrzeug sicher verstauen, damit diese nicht
in den Fahrerfußraum gelangen können.
Die Fußmatten immer fest und wie vorgeschrieben montieren, um
stets ausreichenden Freiraum für die Pedale zu gewährleisten.
Keine losen Fußmatten verwenden und nicht mehrere Fußmatten
übereinanderlegen.
Fußmatte ausrichten (Bild I)
1. Fahrersitz zurückschieben. *
2. Fußmatte (1) formschlüssig einlegen.
Montageposition kennzeichnen (Bild II)
3. Einen spitzen Gegenstand, z. B. Stift oder Schraubendreher, durch
die Ösen (4) drücken, sodass im Fahrzeugboden ein sichtbarer
Abdruck bleibt.
Halterungsschrauben eindrehen (Bild III)
4. Fußmatte (1) aus dem Fußraum entfernen.
5. Halterungsschraube (3) auf der gekennzeichneten Stelle
positionieren und bis zum Anschlag eindrehen.
6. Zweite Halterungsschraube (3) ebenfalls in den Fahrzeugboden
eindrehen.
7. Fußmatte (1) formschlüssig einlegen.
Fußmatte befestigen (Bild IV)
8. Ösen (4) auf die Halterungsschrauben (3) drücken.
9. Festen Sitz der Fußmatte (1) überprüfen.
10. Fahrersitz einstellen. *
Montage Fußmatte Beifahrerfußraum
1. Beifahrersitz zurückschieben. *
2. Fußmatte (2) formschlüssig einlegen.
3. Beifahrersitz einstellen. *

all-weather floor mats (for left and right-hand-drive vehicles) of the smart
451 model series.
The floor mats serve to protect and preserve the footwell.

Installing the floor mat in the driver's footwell

WARNING – RISK OF ACCIDENT FROM OBJECTS IN THE
DRIVER'S FOOTWELL
Objects in the driver's footwell may, in particular, impede pedal travel
or block a depressed pedal.
This jeopardises the operating and road safety of the vehicle
Stow all objects in the vehicle securely so that they cannot get
into the driver's footwell.
Always install the floor mats securely and as prescribed in order
to ensure that there is sufficient room for the pedals.
Do not use loose floor mats and do not place several floor mats
on top of one another.
Positioning the floor mat (image I)
1. Slide back the driver's seat. *
2. Insert floor mat (1) flush.
Marking the installation position (image II)
3. Press a sharp object, e.g. a pen or screwdriver through eyelets (4) to
ensure that a visible mark is left in the floor of the vehicle.
Screwing in the retainer screws (image III)
4. Remove floor mat (1) from the footwell.
5. Position retainer screw (3) on the marked position and screw in up to
the stop.
6. Also screw second retainer screw (3) into the vehicle floor.
7. Insert floor mat (1) flush.
Securing the floor mat (image IV)
8. Press eyelets (4) onto retainer screws (3).
9. Check that floor mat (1) is properly secured.
10. Adjust the driver's seat. *
Installing the floor mat in the co-driver's footwell
1. Slide back the co-driver's seat. *
2. Insert floor mat (2) flush.
3. Adjust the co-driver's seat. *
