Functional description
The telematics unit installed in the vehicle,
referred to as CCU-Modul (connectivity control unit) in the
following, gathers data using the built-in 3D sensor and GPS
receiver. The CCU-Modul is to be connected either with the
voltage supply or with the OBD interface. If it is connected to
the vehicle's OBD interface, additional vehicle-specific data
(mileage, DTCs generated by the control unit and many more)
will be tracked and transmitted to the service provider using
the built-in mobile module. The service provider will be able
to access and process that data.
i
If you have questions concerning the data gathered,
consult the provisions in your contract or contact your
service provider.
