6 Disassembling the defective AC power controller assembly
12. Actively discharge the DC link. For this purpose use,
for example, a 2-pole voltage detector that does not
have its own voltage source. Using the voltage
detector, conduct a measurement on the connection
screws of the terminal of the DC link connection
cable on the CON assembly until a value of 0 V is
displayed.
13.
Damage to the inverter due to electrostatic discharge
The internal components of the inverter can be irreparably damaged by electrostatic
discharge.
• Ground yourself before touching any component.

Disassembling the defective AC power controller
assembly
1. Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources (see Section 5, page 13).
2. Remove the ribbon cable from the OCS assembly.
3. If present, remove the data cable from the OCS assembly. To do so, note the terminal
assignment, open every screw terminal with a flat-blade screwdriver (blade width: 2 mm) and
remove the conductor from the screw terminal.
4.
Damage to the assembly due to mechanical strain
If the assembly is excessively bent, solder contacts, components and conducting paths may
snap.
• Remove the OCS assembly and the display assembly separately. To do this, proceed
as follows.
