ßen, um das Laser-Abtastsystem vor Verschmut-
zung zu schützen. Dann das Gerät mit dem Schal-
ter POWER (1) ausschalten.
4.2 Umschaltung der Display-Zeitanzeige
Die Zeitanzeige [(f) in Abb. 3] gibt die Laufzeit in
Minuten (M) und Sekunden (S) an, wobei die Sekun-
title calendar [(g) in fig. 3]. If the CD has more than

tect the laser system against impurities. Then

4.2 Switching of the time indication of the
display
The time indication [(f) in fig. 3] shows the playing
time in minutes (M) and seconds (S), the seconds
being again divided into 75 frames (F) (1 frame =

4.4 Kurzes Anspielen eines Titels
1) Das Gerät muß auf Pause stehen. Gegebenen-
falls mit der Taste
(8) auf Pause schalten.
2) Den gewünschten Titel mit einer der TRACK-
Tasten

(15) anwählen.
3) Die CUE-Taste (10) gedrückt halten. Die LED über
der Taste blinkt. Der Titel spielt so lange, wie die
Taste gedrückt wird.
4) Nach dem Loslassen der CUE-Taste springt das
Gerät auf den Titelanfang zurück. Die LED über
der Taste leuchtet. Zum Starten des Titels die
Taste
(8) drücken.
4.5 Rücksprung auf eine markierte Stelle
eines Titels
1) Während des Abspielens eines Titels mit der Ta-
ste
(8) auf Pause schalten, wenn die Stelle
erreicht ist, auf die später zurückgesprungen wer-
den soll. Im Pausenmodus diese Stelle gegebe-
nenfalls mit den SEARCH-Tasten
genau anfahren (siehe dazu Kap. 4.3). Die Stelle
ist jetzt intern markiert.

4.4 Short playing of a title
1) The unit must be set to pause. If necessary,
switch to pause with button

the button is blinking. The title is played as long as
the button is kept pressed.
4) After releasing button CUE the unit jumps back to
the title beginning. The LED above the button is

4.5 Jumping back to a marked spot of a title
1) While playing a title switch the unit to pause with
button
(8) when the spot is reached to which
the unit is to jump back later. In the pause mode
exactly aim at this spot with the buttons SEARCH
and
(14), if necessary (for this see chap-
ter 4.3). The spot is now marked internally.
2) Continue the playing with pressing button
