CUTTING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION

• Read the Safety instructions beginning on page 7 concerning proper use of
the Chain saw.
• Always wear gloves and protective clothing when operating the Chain saw.
• Felling a tree requires knowledge and experience, especially in a case of
felling a large diameter tree or cutting on steep slopes or unstable ground.
Please seek the advice of a real expert before attempting to fell a tree.
• Before attempting to fell a tree, cut some small logs or limbs to practice of the
Chain saw operations.
• Apply only light pressure while running the engine at full throttle constantly.
• If the chain is properly sharpened, the cutting should be relatively effortless.
Replace the chain or sharpen it.
• If the saw pinches during cutting operation, stop the engine and insert a wedge
to remove it.
• Do not let any person use your saw unless he has read this operatorʼs manual
and fully understands its instruction.
• Use chain saw only to cut wood or wood products.

• Lea las instrucciones de seguridad de la página 7 relativas al uso adecuado
de la motosierra.
• Cuando utilice la motosierra, póngase siempre guantes e indumentaria de
protección.
• Para talar árboles se precisa de conocimientos y experiencia, especialmente
si corta árboles de gran diámetro, en pendiente o en suelo inestable. Antes de
intentar talar un árbol, asesórese con un experto.
• Antes de intentar talar árboles, corte troncos pequeños o ramas para practicar
con la motosierra.
• Aplique una ligera presión mientras hace funcionar el motor a alta velocidad
de forma constante.
• Si la cadena está bien afilada, debería practicarse el corte casi sin esfuerzo.
Cambie la cadena o afílela.
• Si la motosierra se bloquea durante la operación de corte, pare el motor e
inserte una cuña para retirarla.
• No permita el uso de la unidad antes de haber leído atentamente el manual y
comprendido totalmente sus instrucciones.
• Utilice la motosierra sólo para cortar madera o productos a base de este material.

• Use sempre luvas e roupa de protecção ao operar a Motosserra.
• Cortar uma árvore exige conhecimentos e experiência, sobretudo no caso do
corte de uma árvore de diâmetro grande ou em planos inclinados ou solo
instável. Aconselhe-se com um perito antes de tentar derrubar uma árvore.
• Antes de tentar derrubar uma árvore, corte em troncos ou ramos pequenos
para praticar as operações da Motosserra.
• Exerça apenas uma ligeira pressão enquanto opera o motor com o acelerador
ao máximo continuamente.
• Se a corrente estiver adequadamente afiada, o corte far-se-á relativamente
sem esforço. Substitua a corrente ou afie-a.
• Se a serra ficar presa durante a operação de corte, pare o motor e insira uma
cunha para retirá-la.
• Não deixe qualquer pessoa usar a serra salvo se tiver lido o manual do
operador e compreender as instruções na íntegra.
• Use a motosserra apenas para cortar madeira ou produtos de madeira.
HOLDING THE SAW
With both hands, keep a good, firm grip on the saw.
The right hand should be on the rear handle, and the left hand on the front handle.
APPROPRIATE USE OF SPIKED BUMPER
Engage the spiked bumper firmly in the wood and pivot the saw around this contact
point.
KICKBACK SAFETY PRECAUTION
KICKBACK PHENOMENON
If the upper quadrant of the tip of the bar touches any object, the reaction of the
chain may drive the saw rapidly straight back toward the operator. Do not cut limbs
with the nose of the guide bar.

CÓMO AGARRAR LA MOTOSIERRA
Agarre la motosierra firmemente con ambas manos: la derecha en la empuñadura
trasera, y la izquierda en la delantera.
USO CORRECTO DEL APOYO DENTADO
Inserte el apoyo dentado firmemente en la madera y haga pivotar la motosierra en
torno a este punto de contacto.
PRECAUCIÓN DE SEGURIDAD DEL GOLPE DE RETROCESO
FENÓMENO DE GOLPE DE RETROCESO
Si el cuadrante superior del extremo de la espada entra en contacto con cualquier
objeto, la reacción de la cadena puede conducir rápidamente la motosierra contra
el operario. No corte ramas con el extremo de la espada.

SEGURAR NA SERRA
Com as duas mãos, mantenha uma preensão boa e firme sobre a serra. A mão
direita deve ficar na pega traseira e a mão esquerda na pega dianteira.
USO ADEQUADO DO AMORTECEDOR DENTADO
Insira o amortecedor dentado com firmeza na madeira e rode a serra à volta deste
ponto de contacto.
PRECAUÇÃO DE SEGURANÇA CONTRA O COICE
FENÓMENO DE COICE
Se o quadrante superior da ponta da lâmina tocar em qualquer objecto, a reacção
da corrente pode conduzir a serra rapidamente de volta para o operador. Não corte
os ramos maiores com o nariz da lâmina-guia.
