USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

GENERAL INFORMATION

• The lighting units are loaded and can be used immediately. The bat-
tery life is approx. 8 to 13 hours, depending on use. If the batteries
are completely discharged, there is a risk of deep discharge. Do not
switch the unit on again until the battery is fully charged. Please use
the enclosed USB cable for this purpose.
• Do not charge the light units via your computer, mobile phone or other
devices that could be damaged.
• When travelling by plane with your scooter, the light units should be
carried in your hand luggage.
• The lighting units are not completely waterproof, therefore it is not
advisable to use them in damp weather.
HOW THE LED LIGHTING WORKS
Front light unit
On the back of the front light unit there are three elements from left to
right: the on/off switch, the push button for controlling the light effects
and the USB port protected by the dust plug.
To switch on the front light unit, press the on/off switch downwards - the
middle position
activates the energy saving mode, and the lower posi-
tion the continuous light. Selecting the upper position
light unit off again. (Fig. 1B)
Important: The front light unit is equipped with an additional sensor. It
is only switched on and off when there is a small vibration, e.g. when
moving. This means that after selecting the mode (energy saving or con-
tinuous light) the lamp only lights up after a small vibration and switches
off completely after the uppermost position has been selected, even after
a small vibration. In energy-saving mode, the lamp switches to stand-by
mode after approx. 15 seconds without activating the sensor, and this
mode is cancelled by renewed vibration. The continuous light illuminates
continuously independently of the sensor.
The flashing function is triggered via the push-button both in energy-sa-
ving mode and in continuous light mode. Pressing once activates slow
flashing (low frequency), pressing twice activates fast flashing (high fre-
quency), pressing three times deactivates flashing.
