8.3.2
Equipment installation
To install the equipment, proceed as follows:
1. First of all, place the equipment in vertical position in its final location.
2. Install weighing modules in VCR vessel, according to instructions detailed in
section 8.3.3.
3. Install the other elements supplied separately (venting filter, rupture disc,
spray balls,...) in its own location. Verify that all elements are installed in its
proper location according to the drawings 008601-E-0411-024-000 and
008601-E-0411-025-000.
4. Place the homogenizer on the ground.
5. Make connections between homogenizer and VCR vessel.
6. Make connections between VCR vessel, MET tank and skid.
7. Connect the equipment to the electric switchboard panel and panel control.
8. Connect the electric switchboard panel to electric supply.
8.3.3
Installation of Weigh Modules in VCR 1002 vessel
The equipment is supplied with the weigh modules disassembled in order to prevent
damages during transport.
For installation of weigh modules, proceed as follows (see figure 4):
1. Raise the vessel and place the weigh modules in the vessel's legs as shown
in figure 5.
2. Lower the vessel to the floor, with special care.
3. Loosen the B bolt until you can remove the centering washer
4. Tighten the B bolt.
5. Take out the A bolt.
6. Raise the vessel slowly and very carefully until the blocking plate is unlocked
and you can remove it.
7. Lower the vessel carefully.
Weigh modules should be connected according to figure 5, taking care of
the cells and connection wire direction. A wrong connection of load cells
can lead to erroneous weight readings.
