Troubleshooting

Possible cause
There is no voltage in the machine. Check electrical mains.
Safety time switch is on.
Fuse in the control circuit (F3) has
burnt off. Fuse is located in the con-
trol transformer (T2).
Pressure switch HP (High pres-
sure) or LP (Low pressure) is defec-
tive.
Timer module (A1) defective.
Exhaust thermostat (B8) tripped.
Thermal sensor (WS) in the engine
or the over-current protection
switch (F1) has got activated.
The water shortage safeguard in
the swimmer tank has got activat-
ed.
Thermostat (B) has been set at a
very low temperature.
Machine switch is not positioned to
burner
The water shortage safeguard in
the safety block has got switched
off.
Fuel tank empty.
Fuel filter choked.
Photo-cell flame monitoring device
has been set wrongly or is defec-
tive.
No ignition spark exists (can be de-
tected through the sight glass in the
burner lid).
Ignition motor is locked.
Failure of the fuel pump or the fuel
solenoid valve.
Remedy
Switch off the appliance switch briefly and
switch it on again.
Install a new fuse; if it burns out again, then
remove the cause for the over-loading.
Check pressure switch.
Check connections, replace if required.
Allow plant to cool down. Unlock the exhaust
thermostat (B8). Eliminate the cause for the
disturbance.
Rectify cause for over-loading.
Remove the water shortage.
Set the thermostat to a higher level.
Switch on the burner.
Ensure adequate water supply. Check ma-
chine for leaks.
Refill fuel.
Clean fuel filter - to do that remove the fuel fil-
ter by turning, clean it and again turn it in.
Check the correct positioning of the photo-
cell. **
Check electrodes distance between ignition
transformer and ignition cable. Rectify the dis-
tance or replace defective parts. Clean it, if
necessary.
Removing the blockage. Remove the stopper
(I) on the operating plan and unlock the over-
current protection switch. Insert back the
stopper.
Check parts and replace defective parts.
